In summer 2010 an old shipwreck was found in the Åland archipelago. Divers found not only several bottles of well-preserved champagne, but also five bottles of beer dating from the first half of the 19thcentury. A few of those beer bottles have been studied at the Technical Research Centre of Finland, VTT. Now the research results will be made public.
