BURLINGTON, Vt. – Champlain College’s Life Experience & Action Dimension (LEAD) team and Peoples United Bank present the College’s third “Game of Life” budgeting simulation Saturday, Nov. 3 from 1-4 p.m. in Argosy Gymnasium.

BURLINGTON, Vt. – This past weekend the Emergent Media Center (EMC) at Champlain College was awarded the Ambassador Award at the 6th annual Vermont Tech Jam for being a leader in technology, blending business and learning.

1% for the Planet Announces Latest New England Member Companies

Waitsfield, VT  – Vermont-based 1% for the Planet announced today that 21 new companies from the New England region have joined the network so far in 2012. Members of 1% for the Planet contribute 1% of annual sales directly to approved non-profit organizations. Non-profits are approved based on referrals, track record and sustainability focus and currently over 3,000 non-profits worldwide are eligible to receive donations.

Puzzle Created by Champlain College Faculty Member Wins Various Awards

BURLINGTON, Vt. – Champlain College Continuing Professional Studies Professor Allyn Kahn, of New Port Richey, FL, online instructor of math, statistics, philosophy and critical thinking since 2000, has received multiple awards for the puzzle he developed to help his chess students improve their decision-making. The puzzle, Mentagy, is now available as a game board, puzzle book, and on a digital puzzle platform.

Vermont Public Radio Announces Schedule of Election Debates

Vermont Public Radio will host six live candidate debates this campaign season. Hosted by Bob Kinzel and Jane Lindholm, the debates will be aired live at noon and rebroadcast at 7 p.m.
