A new partnership with educational platform edX means that Karolinska Institutet has become the first university in Sweden to offer internet-based courses to hundreds of thousands of students around the world.

Bemidji School of Nursing expands offerings to Century College

Beginning in the fall of 2013, registered nurses  will be able to pursue a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the Bemidji School of Nursing on the campus of Century College in White Bear Lake, Minn.

The Bemidji School of Nursing includes baccalaureate nursing programs at Bemidji State University and two-year nursing degree programs at Northwest Technical College in Bemidji, Minn.

May 17 will mark another milestone for many Oklahoma City Community College (OCCC) students and the college alike. This year, OCCC will award 1,750 degrees and certificates to graduates and celebrate its 40thannual commencement ceremony. Dr. Glen D. Johnson, Chancellor for the Oklahoma State System of Higher Education, will serve as this year’s keynote speaker. Commencement ceremonies will be held at the Cox Convention Center beginning at 7:30 p.m.

This year, OCCC alumni, faculty, family and friends will celebrate with 1,750 OCCC graduates at the 40th annual Commencement Ceremonies to be held on Friday, May 17.
