Chicago (May 23 2012) – Chicago-based passenger train company, Iowa Pacific Passenger Rails, in conjunction with High Iron Travel will hitch one full-length dome car to the regularly scheduled Amtrak services to destinations in Hannibal, MO, Springfield, IL and Milwaukee, WI. Dome cars offer sweeping views of landscaped with glass domed tops and luxury seating on two levels. A professional chef has designed menus to be served on board and prepared to order. Dome cars are rarely used in regular service anymore so this is truly a unique experience.
