We're doing some remodeling here at the Pirate House, and naturally, blogging about the ups and downs of home improvement.
Summer projects include:
-Complete basement finishing. Framing, electrical, and insulation already complete. Drywall, carpeting, finishing, and decor/furniture are scheduled to be completed by end of August.
-Budget kitchen upgrade (currently under exclusivity contract for kitchen appliances, all other kitchen items/tips (cabinetry, lighting, plumbing, etc...) will be considered.
-DIY dry bar (included as part of the basement remodel). Project timeframe TBD based on remaining budget after above-mentioned projects.
