A consumer class-action lawsuit challenges the durability claims made by the makers of AZEK cellular PVC decks.

Law360 (subscription required) reports the class action alleges that CPG International Inc. and AZEK Building Products Inc. falsely market their cellular PVC decking material as longer-lasting when compared to decks of wood and composite material. The suit claims that the PVC decking has design and construction defects, resulting in premature deterioration and also loss of structural integrity.
