Ryland Homes Leads Area Call-A-Thon that Nets 55 New Members for Tampa Bay Builders Assn.

Tampa, Fla. --- There’s a reason the Tampa Bay Builders Association is the fastest-growing regional home builder association in Florida with more than 500 members to date.  And the Sales and Marketing Council of the TBBA has grown with it to over 230 members.

Ashton Woods Homes Acquires Townhome Sites at Community South of Downtown Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla. – Ashton Woods Homes has acquired 66 three and four bedroom townhome sites at Copley Square located off Michigan Street and Delaney Avenue south of Downtown Orlando. 

Michael Roche, vice president of sales and marketing for Ashton Woods Homes, said the townhomes range in size from 2,000 square feet of living space to 2,400 square feet with two car garages. 

Cuhaci & Peterson Architects to design new Bottom Dollar Store in Downtown Philadelphia

ORLANDO, Fla. --- Cuhaci & Peterson Architects, based in Orlando’s Baldwin Park, was recently awarded a contract to design a new Bottom Dollar Store on Girard Avenue in downtown Philadelphia.

Bottom Dollar is part of the Food Lion stores based in North Carolina. The developer is Soloff Development. Lonnie Peterson, chairman of Cuhaci & Peterson Architects, said the store will offer 10,000 square feet of retail space.

Ashton Woods Homes Offers Three Ready-to-Move-In Homes at The Landings in South Tampa in Tampa’s Westshore area

TAMPA, Fla. --- Ashton Woods Homes recently opened three ready-to-move-in homes at The Landings in South Tampa, located off Interbay and Westshore Blvds. in the Westshore region of Tampa.

Michael Roche, vice president of sales and marketing at Ashton Woods Homes, said three, four and five bedroom homes at The Landings in South Tampa range in size from1,556 square feet of living space to 2,730 square feet priced from $229,900 with a two car garage.

Roche said only 20 home sites remain for sale in the current phase at the Landings in South Tampa.

Air India Offers Fall Economy Class Sale Fares to India for Travel Through November 26, 2012

Air India has announced Special Economy Class Sale Fares available from all three of its U.S. gateways through November 26th. Sample round trip Sale Fares for departures through October 31, 2012 (including all taxes, airport and security fees, and fuel surcharges) are $1,257.18 from JFK to Delhi, $1,201.92 from Newark to Mumbai, and $1,318.58 from Chicago to Delhi. The fares are $104.00 higher from November 1 to November 26.

First Call GB Ltd reports that £4.5 billion rail deal has been finalised

A deal, which has seen delay after delay, has finally been announced for the Intercity express trains. A contract worth £4.5billion is to create more than 900 new jobs. The Government’s deal with Agility Trains, an organisation run by the Japanese company Hitachi, will see over 600 rail carriages constructed at the newly built factory in Newton Aycliffe, in County Durham. It is expected that the first trains will be on the tracks on the Greater Western mainline at some point in 2017, whilst the East Coast Main Line trains will not be operating until 2018.
