Whistler Blackcomb is well known for its consistent and reliable snowfall throughout the winter, but the month of January has long been celebrated by skiers and riders as storm season. Storm season brings with it plenty of snow and deep powder days on the mountains, and this sacred time will once again be documented by six professional photographers at the seventh annual ARC’TERYX Deep Winter Photo Challenge, Presented by GORE-TEX® products.

Whistler Blackcomb has been named the No. 1 overall ski resort in North America by the readers of SKI Magazine. The 26th annual readers’ poll ranks the top 60 North America ski resorts in SKI Magazine’s Resort Guide, hitting newsstands today. The survey of 20,000 SKI readers is the longest running and most comprehensive survey of its kind in the winter sports industry.

Snow forecast to fall in London this weekend

On Sunday 29thJuly the national hospitality house, Austria House Tirol at Trinity House, will be transformed into a Winter Wonderland and will be covered in SNOW, ready for the Après-ski party on Sunday afternoon. As London prepares for the Olympics we wonder if they are ready for yodelling, thigh slapping, DJ Koko pumping classic Après-ski hits, outlandish ski wear......oh and did we mention Olympic legend - Eddie “The Eagle” Edwards?
